FOLK TAILS
Solo exhibition at Colborne Lodge, Toronto History Museums, May-August 2024

Folk Tails, an art exhibition at Colborne Lodge nestled within the vibrant landscape of High Park in Toronto, seeks to deepen our connection with the park and its inhabitants. A narrative rhyming poem serves as a guided tour of the home which tells the story of the Lodge and imagines the wildlife of the park occupying it. The artworks aim to blur the lines that separate nature from civilization, exploring a world where animals inhabit human spaces. The goal of this exhibition is to remind us of the interconnectedness of all living beings and to cultivate awareness and reverence for the natural world.
