Rajasi is a series that explores the ornamentation of animals, drawing from historical and cultural traditions where animals are adorned with intricate patterns, jewelry, and textiles. Inspired by the reverence for animals in South Asian art and mythology, this series examines how decoration serves as both an expression of beauty and a symbol of status, devotion, or protection. Each piece intricately weaves together motifs of opulence and nature, blurring the line between the wild and the ornamental. Through Rajasi, I seek to celebrate the grandeur of animals while questioning the relationship between adornment and identity in both human and animal worlds.
